Following a successful corporate career in marketing, and motivated by my growing frustration at the lack of senior roles with flexibility; Katy set up a Facebook Group: Flexible Working for People Like Me.
The group is a community of likeminded professional career women (and men) and a platform to share ideas and offer support in relation to maintaining a career and work life balance after starting a family.
It’s also a powerful recruitment platform for businesses & recruiters wanting help to source brilliant talent for their flexible jobs. Members share and recommend roles to friends and contacts in a way that doesn’t happen using static jobs boards or listings.
In just one year the group has grown to 20k+ members. The power of this network is not just the calibre of members (mostly senior professionals across all disciplines and sectors) but also the interaction and level of engagement within.
